MJHS Kicks-off 2024 Broadway in Bryant Park Series

MJHS was proud to be a Presenting Sponsor of the first Broadway in Bryant Park of the summer, a beloved free series hosted by 106.7 Lite FM. Thousands of attendees came together in Midtown Manhattan to watch dazzling Broadway performances that showcased the power of music, while connecting with MJHS staff about how we can help care for, support and guide them and their loved ones. Attendees also wrote messages at our booth about how music brings back memories.

True to our mission, MJHS reserved close-up seats for older adults, and their caregivers, so they could enjoy the critically-acclaimed performances in comfort – a ‘first’ for the Broadway in Bryant Park series. 106.7 Lite FM on-air personality Helen Little introduced the numbers, including from “Back to the Future,” “The Who’s TOMMY,” “The Wiz,” “Water for Elephants,” and “Hell’s Kitchen,” which will be the feature for the annual MJHS Foundation Hospice Goes to Broadway fundraiser taking place in the fall.
