MJHS Health System Returns as Presenting Sponsor of Brooklyn Walk to End Alzheimer’s
MJHS Health System, a premier not-for-profit health care organization that was founded by the Four Brooklyn Ladies in 1907, will return as Presenting Sponsor of the Brooklyn Walk to End Alzheimer’s® for the second year in a row. MJHS staff will join the walk to champion the not-for-profit’s legacy of caring for, supporting and guiding individuals with the disease, as well as their family caregivers, while honoring their personal experiences being impacted by the disease.
The Brooklyn Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held on October 27, 2024. On “Walk Day”, participants honor those affected by Alzheimer’s with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony — a mission-focused experience that signifies our solidarity in the fight against the disease. The colors of the Promise Garden flowers represent people’s connection to Alzheimer’s — their personal reasons for ending the disease.
